Salvation Belongs to God

Jonah 1–3

“Salvation is of the LORD.”

Jonah 2:9 KJV

TODAY’S DEVOTION

Jonah reached the end of self-rescue and confessed the only true source of deliverance. Salvation is not produced by effort, heritage, or religious résumé; it comes from the Lord. Grace reaches into depths we entered through our own disobedience, yet it also calls us back to obedience. Receive mercy humbly, then go where God sends you.
