Worship That Reaches the Street
Amos 5–7
“But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”
Amos 5:24 KJV
TODAY’S DEVOTION
God rejected songs offered by people who maintained injustice. Worship and righteousness cannot be separated without hollowing both. The altar should shape the way we speak, pay, lead, forgive, and protect the vulnerable. Ask the Holy Ghost to carry today’s worship into visible integrity. Let justice flow through ordinary choices, not remain a word reserved for public causes.

Context for careful reading.
מִשְׁפָּט · mišpāṭ · H4941
Mišpāṭ means judgment or justice rightly ordered. Amos pictures it flowing continuously rather than appearing occasionally.
Amos 5–7 confronts ceremonial religion without justice and records prophetic warnings to a prosperous but unfaithful nation.
